Dr. Adhi Moonien Two Owls is an Artist, Shaman and Healer. Her area of study is painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. Adhi studied at the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City Missouri.
Adhi looks to understand the world and how it works. She is always seeking to explore new relationships with materials, ideas. She sees the creative process as the means for opening doorways into deeper understanding, empathy, consciousness and awareness.
Adhi received your Doctorate in Philosophy & Therapeutic Counseling From the Open University of Complimentary Medicine Sri Lanka in 2013 through their affiliate campus in Montreal Canada. For her research into the effectiveness of traditional Indigenous healing on mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Other areas of interest and independent study include the Earth sciences, Physics and Music. Adhi sees these as vital explorations to understanding how the world works. She has a diverse background in esoteric studies which include: Tibetan Buddhism and its related meditation practices, Western Spiritual practices and the causes of Magick and Alchemy, Qi Gong, Chinese medicine, Sacred Geometry, Interfaith as a tools for compassion and empathy and Indigenous healing methods.
Adhi has spent the last 30 years studying the design, function and uses of Sacred objects as they are found all over the world. She see rituals and the sacredness of materials, colors, textures, sound/music, dance and movement as ways to explore the relationships between what is ordinary and the non-ordinary. She uses these ancient sciences, techniques, practices and designs to develop contemporary sacred objects that meet the needs of today’s community and Earth/ climate relationship challenges.
Adhi has been a faculty member of the International Institute of Integral Humans Science in Montreal where she offered course several times a year in Shamanism and related topics. She has also been a speaker at their annual international conference.
Adhi facilitates workshops on a variety of creative and spiritual subjects. She lectures on the scientific aspects of dowsing/Radiesthesia, Shamanism and other esoteric healing practices. Adhi designs products to help people navigate the energy patterns in their lives, transmute EMF smog and heal the earth.
Adhi travels to facilitate a wide spectrum of spiritual and Healing workshops, retreats, sacred tools making workshops, and healing circles. She believes that sharing this wisdom is essential for growing new ways for communities to address the climate issues of today.
Adhi has served as a Trustee board member for the American Society of Dowsers 2009-2013 and served as president in 2015 – 2016. She remains an active member teaching at local ASD chapters and their conferences.
Adhi’s vision is of building healthy communities grounded in the practical application of spiritual principles, creative experience/thought, and Scientific observation/exploration. A healthy world starts with a health foundation. Dr. Adhi inspires communities and individuals to become autonomous, sustainable and integrated with the world around them.
